Customer Service Representative Job

FUNCTION: The CRS is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers while supporting the internal team as well as the outside customers.
REPORTS TO: President & Sales Manager

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare paperwork and coordinate daily field service and transportation jobs
  • Assist with development of industrial waste profiles and prepare manifesting
  • Help coordinate emergency responses with other departments
  • Create a customer service experience that exceeds clients’ expectations
  • Assist in qualifying incoming leads and direct to appropriate sales person
  • Work closely with the sales department, supplying them with account information
  • Work cooperatively with outside customers via all channels of communication in a timely manner
  • Assist with waste sample and laboratory management
  • Ensure an efficient workflow process and Keep projections current
  • Prepare project folders for invoicing and quote management with sales
  • Administrative Duties as needed specific to the needs of the company that may not be listed here in this general overview, will perform other necessary duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, or environmental science related field or 5 years of equivalent experience will be considered

  • Must be highly motivated with strong problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with different departments and Management levels inside and outside the company
  • Strong computer skills that can be demonstrated, that include use of Excel, Word, MS e-mail, etc
  • 1 – 2 years experience in the hazardous waste industry a plus
  • Working knowledge of RCRA, TSCA, & DOT a plus

 

Outside Account Manager -Sales Job

FUNCTION:   The Industrial Account Manager will support Lion Industrial Resources growing client base. The position will channel feedback from the client base in order for the company to better serve its’ Customers.  Industrial Account Managers are responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent industrial waste services while developing new market opportunities.

 

REPORTS TO:  President & Sales Manager

Principal Responsibilities

  • Effectively develops new and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
  • Utilize the Company’s Contact Relationship Management (“CRM”) tool on a daily basis, schedule and document all activities, and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers to facilitate acquisition of new customers.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offers additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers.
  • Markets & Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other similar activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective new clients; follow up with key customer decision makers and to close all sales.
  • Complete consistently scheduled phone blocks and prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with customer decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs.
  • Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review weekly customer growth, retention, relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or 5 years of related field equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Past successful experience managing revenue accounts valued at $1MM+

Waste Coordinator Job

Job Function: The Waste Coordinator is responsible for knowledge of hazardous material regulations, DOT regulations, warehousing and logistics are necessary. This position will be helping a management team set the bar for exceptional service in a very fast paced and continuously growing manufacturing environment. This is a physically and mentally challenging position

Job Description

  • Managing waste management activities including inventory of waste / hazardous & non-hazardous materials, waste shipment preparation and off-site disposal
  • Proper communication for coordinating scheduled or required disposal shipments
  • Operate if necessary all available equipment (forklift, etc.) in adherence with training and company policies
  • Responsible for inspections and record keeping (hazardous waste audits, pre-shipment checklists, etc.)
  • Serve as first responder to industrial waste or material spills
  • Complete special assignments or tasks as requested by LIR Management
  • Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to LIR Management
  • Serve as an on-site liaison between LIR and the customer

Position Preferred & Required Skills

  • Required, High school diploma with some college or equivalent related field experience
  • Required, Must be a self-starter requiring very little day to day supervision with a proven service record of excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Required, teamwork skills along with excellent customer service focus
  • Required, Be able to lift safely objects over 50 Lbs.
  • Required, Promote a safe and high morale work environment
  • Required, Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred, Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial facility managed services role
  • Preferred, Knowledge a must; DOT/RCRA/RCRA Regulatory Waste Management, & OSHA Regulations,
  • Preferred, Have or be able to obtain TWIC clearance
  • Preferred, Have or be able to complete Hazwoper & Safety Council certifications
